I took the family out today to go and cut a pagan festivity / X-mess tree. Lo and behold, strange happenings above, but whats new?

This first picture I took while at a traffic light. As the plane hit the cloud cover, the trail stopped. That is what you see in this pic. But, as the plane exited the cloud cover (which looked like older spread out trails) the trail began again. I couldn't snap a pic of the cloud exit as I was moving and we were in a rush to get things done before dark.

Below you will see some very strange "black" trails. What makes these black, the time of day? I have seen black ones before but never so many in the same general vicinity.
